Next year you should do the same thing one day, and create an Ubersaw that plays the taunt music (violin like music) so you can randomly stop and play it like a violin

Demo would be cool, but only if you can fake a decent scottish accent, and find a bottle to put XXX on it, hehe.
I might be able to do an unofficial (or official if I can get an OK from khoo) contest for TF2 costumes next year. Should be easy enough to plan and get prizes for if theres enough notice.

You're the enforcer with the cape? We saw you sunday when we were sitting in the corner waiting for the omegathon line to be over (we went in after the whole line had filtered in.) One of my friends thought it was cool how your cape said ENFORCER.

and this gorgeous little blonde thing gets in
she looks around at all of us, then looks forward, gets off at her stop, and is gone
tube says something along the lines of "she would never even touch a single one of us, thats the difference between people like us and people like her"
well this same girl, hours later
comes up to me in the exhibition hall at pax
and goes
"I KNOW YOU! YOURE MULLY! OHMIGOD!"
she apparently runs the cosplay thread in the pax forum

This girl...now. I thought she was just regular hot. Now I know I missed my chance to be with a hot weirdo, which is the best kind of weirdo.

That was probably the most heart breaking thing i've ever heard but i think all geeks and nerds (myself included) has felt that moment of complete inadequacy...that "there's just no way..." feeling...this makes me want to find this Tube fellow and kiss him...

That was probably the most heart breaking thing i've ever heard but i think all geeks and nerds (myself included) has felt that moment of complete inadequacy...that "there's just no way..." feeling...this makes me want to find this Tube fellow and kiss him...
I might have said this before, but it's pretty simple.
If someone looks bored or interesting, approach them. If they look busy, you might have to wait, or move on. But if not, approach them. Approach as many people as you can. Say hi. Then when you see a pretty girl, you can be completely comfortable saying hi, because it's something that you've been working on, and it's something you do for everyone. Just introduce yourself like you would introduce yourself to everyone.
What's the worst that can happen? Will she turn her nose at you and pretend you don't exist? Big deal. Not only is that highly unlikely, but it could make a funny story afterwards to tell your friends about. Also, because you won't have to regret pondering what might have been.
It's a lot easier to approach people in real life than it is to approach them as strangers on myspace or facebook.

The idea spawned from kind of an inside joke situation. Just after PAX 06 in our forums there was a sugguestion thread. One of the issues was how to identify room/area managers. My sugguestion was Capes :P Couldnt just be a normal cape, when on shift the enforcer logo has to be displayed.
I don't know why but i don't remember you being that tall lol...can we get a pic to remember you by?
So I cant find a picture of me *during* PAX right now (so no pics in the cape yet :P) but heres one of me during setup with the other Pax security guys (all sporting our mirrored avaitors).
