McCain used HUSSEIN in a scare-tactic way?

Can you cite please, I wasn't aware of that.

You're trying to limit it, I was referencing the non patriotic attacks. You know, where McCain spent two weeks effectively accusing Obama of Treason.

Of course, this means you must donate more money to McCain.

....and records of her being a member from 1994 to 1996.....

There aren't any, the AIP doesn't keep records that long. In theory, the alaskan state government would have the voter registrations, but I don't know how long they keep them either.

They do have a number of people saying she was at their convention. And the claim that she was a former member has gone unchallenged until now. And she gave them a video greeting for their convention.

Oh, I agree she likely was a member just based on making videos for them (you don't really make nice videos for conventions of political parties you have nothing to do with..), just saying that Tapper's statement of there not being a paper trail is accurate: the party doesn't keep paper records that far back.

Ah. Well, I'm glad to hear that, since your holy book certainly doesn't view fetuses as full humans. I'm glad you ignore your religious text just as much as most Christians in America.

And I would love to discuss your "secular reasons" for being pro-life. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that you happen to be Christian. It's been a while since we've had an abortion thread—maybe you could start one?

I'm going to predict tomorrow we see things either stay the same or another point drop for McCain. Then we start seeing the convention bump.

What convention bump? They basically aren't even having a convention.

And I can't see John McCain's rhetorical ability convincing many people. Especially since most will be more caught up in the NFL opening kickoff.

No, but they have a natural disaster, which is really much better than a convention where McCain tries to awkwardly distance himself from Bush. He gets to go look like he cares about people and is rising above partisan politics.

    Wow, another one here:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/02/palins-church-may-have-sh_n_123205.html
Speaking before the Pentecostal church, Palin painted the current war in Iraq as a messianic affair in which the United States could act out the will of the Lord.
"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God," she exhorted the congregants. "That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan."

Yeah, definitely crazy ol' Bush with a fun-pouch.

Basically, the VP McCain picks has the same type of mentality as Bush for the Iraq war, which caused US trillions of dollars and tens of thousands of people dying.
