PAX Forumer meetup/events calender

Making this so we can keep track of gatherings and such.

To view the calender:

1) Login to your google account and go to google calender
2) on the left bar under "Other calendars" click add, then add by URL
3) add the url of the calendar: http://www.google.com/calendar/render?tab=mc&gsessionid=npANli4Yh7a25Fpprcyd8w
4) If that doesnt work, the calender is public so just search public calendars for "PAX Forumer gatherings" and you can add it that way.

If you want to be added to the calender access list to be able to add events to it:

1) Post or PM me your gmail or google account address
2) I will add you as soon as I am able to

Im giving everyone read/write access to events and such, there will be a few rules though:

Dont edit/remove events that you didnt put up
Dont be a dick and put random shit up on the calender (it will get cluttered too quickly). However cool stuff like "Talk like a pirate day" is a-ok :P

This was brought up in the Seattle pax forumer gathering as a way to keep track of local gatherings going on.

Are you sure that's the right link to the calendar? It just drops me to a login page, and i can't add that to my own calendar from that url. Doesn't it need to be an ical link?

You have to login as normal to your gmail account, then you should have a pulldown menu on the left side of the screen that says 'PAX Forumer Gatherings' under 'Other Calendars' if you gave Big Red your gmail address.

If adding the link doesn't work, you can also search for PAX Forumer in the public calenders, and it'll come up with a link to add to your calendar. :)

Far as I'm concerned I'm considering setting up some kind of bi-weekly/monthly get together for Portland PAXers at Guardian Games downtown. That ending the week before PAX with some kind of special "PAX Psych Up" event.

I just added details to the calendar for an "unofficial" LAN party that me and some friends (including two other forumers) hold about every three months, our next [probably] being the weekend following Halloween. We usually have pretty good turnouts, but always look for more people to bring. It may be a ways away from the Seattle area, but we do not charge an entrance fee, because we just want to have fun and be crazy. Check the calendar for details.

EDIT: ... Well, I think I added it, they don't show up when I hide the PAX calender, they only show up on mine... gah!

Where is it, i'm not seeing it in the calendar. Did you add it to your personal one or to the shared one? I went to a lan in Wenatchee back in feb or something, same one?

    ..

we've pretty much always held it in Sedro Wooley, like I said it's not an official LAN of any kind, and apparently i did add it to only my own calender, and im lost in trying to find out how to add it to the group one...

Okay apparently I am not allowed to create events on the calender...
    BTW: I am ropeme16@gmail.com

if my calender is public, which it should be, you guys should be able to find it on there, but... that's kind of a hassle
