New music thread.

I've been listening to a lot of Tool lately. I don't think Lateralus is as good as Aenima. Lateralus is a lot of filler and way too long.
Although, Parabol+Parabola is the best thing ever.

    Honestly, I've mostly been listening to Queens of the stone age and arctic monkeys

    primarily because arctic monkeys are collaborating with josh homme on their next CD, and i want to prepare myself correctly

    also because i love arctic monkeys

    I know sweet dick all about music and I'm attempting to remedy that tonight, via some suggestion thing.

    I like Cake and Modest Mouse, so I'm going through those recommendations now. Might see if it can suggest some metal and rap to go along with. I just don't have space in my head for this stuff it seems, all manner of songs and band names.

    God damn it. There was a song I heard like 2 years ago when it had just come out as a single and I fucking loved it and had it on my computer, but now I can't remember what the fucking name of the song was or what the lyrics. All I remember is like the guy singing about watching this girl shoot up drugs and shooting some lady's son and talking about the ruby red blood or something...FUCK this is going to bother me for days.
