My sister had a coat like that which was a darker black shade with a subtle tint though slightly thicker. Wore that thing for 6 years and cared for it like one of her own until an angry cat peed on it and all her luggage.

That smell does not come out.

If that coat is anything like the one she had, you'll be a VERY pleased lass.

I am limiting myself to only two coat purchases this fall and winter season.

One black coat, one red or teal coat.

That reminds me I need to get my camel one fixed, one of the buttons is super loose.

the thing that sucks about living in southern california more than anything else is that i dont ever need a nice coat. anything more than a light jacket is overkill

    i miss my fall/winter styles :(

If the seams are well spaced on this one then you've got a winner!

In this case, how far they are from the outer fabric's edge. This is a little less important with the lined pattern it's sporting, and in that picture everything appears to be nicely placed.

Now I'm on their site checking out coats. See what you've done?

you realize those are all women's coats, right?

and that if you're there to look at coats then you are probably a little gay, right?

I mean seriously some of these girls aren't the butterfaces so many models tend to be

my point is I don't know why the seams need to be well-spaced, nor which seams he's talking about

nor do I know what kind of impact it would have if the seams are something something the fabric's outer edge

My friend has a coat similar to the first in tan, and the third in red, and you can totally pull the belt off it looks so classy.

yeah any coat with a belt at the waist just looks awful on me

it has to be at the hips (if there must be a belt at all) or there's no way I could make the look work

A pair of Guess premium falcon jeans caught my eye last week while browsing the lines. They should be around for a while so there's little rush but DAMN they'd look nice.

my waist isn't nearly skinny enough to make it look nice... if anything a belt there would only accentuate the fact that my tummy isn't perfectly flat

my friend isn't exactly skinny either, but the jacket is long enough that you still get a nice hourglass silhouette out of it

    i think it's a shame you don't like it :(

I love the style! I just doubt it'd look good on me.

Tell you what, I will find something in that style (long coat with a flare shape and a waist-belt) and try it on and see how it looks. If I look nice then I will get that first coat instead of the third one. :)

This is a reason that Victoria Secret models are irritating (to me at least). A number of coats on there would be better suited to people who aren't rails of bone and salad, so instead of showing how well they can compliment curves and proportions you're left with a photoshopped wire hanger.

I know the wire hanger look is part of the point, but that doesn't always do the best job.

I'm setting out to get shorts to wear around and so I don't have to bike in jeans anymore. And so I can wear rad shorts with the corduroy jacket I just found in my closet. it's too comfy
