I wish you could get some of the shirts from the game in real life, especially the lucha libre gas station one.

Being decked out in pink while you cut dudes in half is pretty fun though.

My favorite shirts always ended up being ones I found in dumpsters. There was one green one that I wore with the gray jacket for most of the game.

oh gosh, the game doesn't even really start until you get to the rank 7 boss, things really pick up from there

I still need to beat the first one

I love the combat, but I think I just kept getting turned off by the odd job minigames

Turned off? I always liked the minigames. Heck, one of the first things I do when I start is the mowing or coconut missions.

i don't think i ever finished my bitter new game +.

i wish you could really get shirts from this game too. i suppose you could make some of them, but it would be a lot of work

i thought the mini games worked well within the game. the controls for them were fun too, although mowing lawns was a little more difficult than it should have been.

santa destroy was a terribly boring little town, but i was ok with that. not every place is awesome to live in.

i thought suda/grasshopper did some very brave things in making the game the way they did.

Santa Destroy being boring was also something that bothered me.

Don't make me drive around like it's an open world in a game this linear.

I liked Santa Destroy. Anywhere with a Suplex Pizza and a Body Slam Beach is an awesome place in my book. I didn't mind the odd job minigames either, since each one only needed to be played once for a total of 3 minutes.

yes, bad things done on purpose do not work in video games

unless you're talking about the Aqua Teen game, that was a fucking masterpiece

I know I have a different opinion on the game than some but I thought it was a brilliant satire of certain sorts of games and teenage life and even a certain way of thinking.

There was some stuff I didn't like, sure, but a lot of it just added to that strange brilliance.

One of my favorite moments in the game was the first time I crashed the motorcycle into that river.

Actually any time you crash is pretty hilarious, if only because Travis gets up after one "Ouch!".

I like the fact that the mentor was basically a non-character
And then he randomly shows up fighting your next target and explodes and Travis freaks out as if you're supposed to care

But then his ghost is still hanging around training you so it completely undoes any sense of drama or loss

I'm playing my old new game +. Turns out I didn't get very far. I'm up to Rank 8 (school and shinobu). I did play for about 30 hours the first time. I would win a rank fight and then go shopping, and spend hours gathering coconuts or mowing lawns and killing PizzaWhatever dudes.

Fired it up and spent about 10 minutes dressing Travis. Not being able to coordinate his shoes with his outfits really bothers me. I blame the clothes threads.

I remember someone saying using Blood Berry gives you a better chance of winning the slots. I seem to be getting power ups a lot more. Since Blood Berry is so much weaker, it is taking forever to kill mooks. I got lit on fire four or five times. I'm playing on Bitter too... Kind of worried about the boss fights now.

I've earned my first Anarchy in the Galaxy ever. I never earned one on the first play through. The grainy one, I think it isCranberry Chocolate Sunday, with things getting all grainy and Travis's hair changing to orange or something, hitting the button prompt does a wicked fatality, hitting the wrong one does a taunt... that one is awesome.

Hearing this news inspired me to start up my bitter save too. I got as far as right before the Shinobu fight. I still need to get the 999,999$ battery saver thing for the last weapon. I dig how you can get tons of concept art on the new game+ play through.

i can't get her to go into her guard pose, which is making this fight ridiculous with the blood berry

this is going to take a while to get back in the swing of things
i don't know if i have the patience to beat Shinobu with the blood berry. it seems like it is doing no damage at all. i know most of the damage comes from the suplex moves, but i always have a hell of a time getting her to guard

and that damn sonic sword spam thing she does when she gets really low on health is damn near undodgable if you are staying close enough to stun her when she blocks (so you can suplex her)
