--ough, the voting situation has changed a little with just under an hour left on the clock.
thorgot has managed to cut Gorilla Salad's lead in half, and now sits only two votes behind Gorilla Salad with seven votes. MrBlarney is still in the lead, and looks to be an unstoppable juggernaut.
It was a tough process, the first few months. The resistance was still scattered, unable to form coherently. Cylon interference made it difficult, if near impossible, to actually arrange themselves.
But finally we had some direction. Someone to guide our steps. There were a lot of differing opinions on who should lead us. A number of scattered individuals volunteered themselves, but the general opinion was in the favour of three well known crew of Phallactica.
Some had taken to Gorilla Salad's vows to rid New Phallica of the cylons for good; he had been an ace pilot aboard the Phallactica, after all, and had proven himself dedicated to the task. Still others voted for thorgot, as he was charismatic and able to sway many to his side.
In the end, however, the role of leadership fell to MrBlarney: after all, leadership was in his blood and everyone knew that he would be capable of making the tough decisions. Gorilla Salad consented to be his second in command, being the next most popular choice.
It was at last time to start planning to attack the cylons, to hit them right where it hurts.
