The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
The funniest sitcom on television (don't argue) will be back to us on Thursdays, starting on October 30. And the distinct lack of a writers' strike means it'll have 22 episodes instead of 15. Hooray!
This will be the best part of winter. Better than the increase in cuddling, hot chocolate, snowball fights, Christmas, and perky nipples.
I wonder if they're going to reference the end of last season, or just ignore it.
What happened? I totally forget.
The whole "Three months later" thing.
My bet would be most of the stuff just being referenced as throwaway lines, with the exception of things like Frank's video game, which seem like they could become plot points for the new season.

easily my favorite show on tv, grabbed the 2nd season dvd last week because I was out and it was there so there was really no other possible outcome.
I always respected Tina Fey, and obviously she's attractive, but it wasn't until the Palin stuff that I really fell in love with her. Like in a hyper disturbing way. I'm thinking about starting to stalk her.
You've heard the extended cut of the song, right? It's sheer brilliance.

I wish Studio 60 would have actually worried less about being funny in a way. The clips of the fake show's skits were the absolute worst part of studio 60. The show I didn't think was all that bad otherwise.

Well, except for the fact that like one member of the cast (the director guy, Danny from the West Wing) was likable and all the women were utter retards and gender stereotypes who needed a man to save them and responded to stalking and special pleading.
Except for that the show wasn't that bad otherwise.
EDIT: 30 Rock is awesome though. Yay for Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin especially.

The idea that your vote is a moral statement about you or who you vote for is some backwards ass libertarian nonsense. Your vote is about society. Vote to protect the vulnerable.

I agree it was a well written show but the skits were painfully not funny. When your Saturday night live-ish skits are less funny that what the actual show has become you're doing something very wrong

I thought about stalking her before that, so I get first dibs.

Get in line man. Seriously though, Tina Fey's great, plus she and Amy Poehler do great work together. I found this clip where Tina and Amy play "sexy tennis" that was actually pretty funny.
apparently hulu will have season 3 episode 1 available a week before it airs :^:
Wow that's really big news. Why though?
Hulu is trying to become a major power as far as web TV. It has a lot of shows already officially backing it. I'm guessing having 30 Rock premiere on it is sort of a hype builder for them considering how great the show is.
Still can't believe that made it past the network censors.
that was the greatest moment in television history
edit: and just the way they held the scene and blandly passed food around for that extra few seconds to pointedly not acknowledge the joke
I have tried explaining why I think this was the best joke in the series to some friends, but in doing so I inevitably have to explain Lemon Party to them and look like some kind of deviant weirdo to a bunch of non-internet-based lifeforms. I had a guy at work ask me about it, I told him to look it up, and when he came in the next day he punched me in the arm.

They did the same thing with "Chuck" with less fanfare.
Earlier I thought this would be back when The Office started. There were some moments of panic while searching through my cable listings "where is 30 Rock???" afraid the unthinkable had happened.

It'll also be available on the NBC site a week early.

I need new friends and coworkers.
If I wasn't already laying down I would have fallen over laughing, and my mom and sister just stared at me. Thankfully I got away with "It's a thing from the internet."

I worked at Starbucks, that was the greatest episode ever.
Look on the bright side, now you get the joke

You kind of blundered right into that one.
Matthew Fucking Broderick.
