Moral judgement based upon a belief that individuals who gain power are bad.
I thought so.
The individual here is not an individual from this society transposed into Skinner's world.
And the scientific society would not be an individual, because all science is a peer reviewed process. Skinner welcomed people to challenge his views, he regarded it as a natural evolution of the type of science he wanted. Remember he was trying to create a naturalised science of behavior, as distinct from philosophy. Everything said would have to be proven with evidence, just as happens in physics.
Like I said, this individual reductionism is a knee jerk reaction based on not reading him properly.

Ahhh, ok. This is better. Then even the individual is erased, and existence becomes one body of self-structured reflexive pleasure.

You are absolutely right.
The reification (as skinner saw it) of the individual (which is just a descriptive term for a single person undergoing a process to him) would be erased.
Also what you said sounds like paradise.

Zimmydoom, Zimmydoom
Flew away in a balloon
Had sex with polar bears
While sitting in a reclining chair
Now there are Zim-Bear hybrids
Running around and clawing eyelids
Watch out, a Zim-Bear is about to have sex with yooooooou!

Oh and I can confirm that to counter a previous chatter's opinion about the 'obviously deeper metaphor' in the Lupe Fiasco song Kick, Push Lupe says it really is just a song about skateboarding and the sort of alienation it garners.
Gangs essentially exist (in theory, of course in reality they exist to empower impoverished individuals) to protect poor people from stupid people. It makes sense they would be divided racially because stupid people tend to be racists.

I started composing a more abstract response, but I think this might be more effective.
You are missing a critical term. Subjectivity is a reified entity. Indeed, subjectivity may be a constructed term. An individual IS a single person. Subjectivity arises from the process, not individuality -- that arises from biology. What Skinner is ultimately describing is a negation of the individual.
In other words, you do want to cease existing; you want science to exist as pleasure manifested over matter.
Indeed. That is a moral claim. As is Skinner's. So not only are we at a deadlock, but a deadlock of humanism and....ummm....what's the word....oh right

I thought gangs existed to foster racial and cultural clashes and violence.

That's the function they perform, not the cause of their manifestation.

Pretty much, but there's a why to that too, and one of the most popular whys is that powerless people like to feel less so. I just simplified the equation.
Gangs were formed as neighborhood police back when the police were even more corrupt and likely to kill you for being the wrong type. Basically the black panthers, but Ukranian or Jewish or Chinese or whatever depending on your neighborhood.

Are you serious?
Or your breath be hitchin'
Because we shot you in the lung.
Or the physicians will need to... start stitchin'?
Absolutely.
You cannot make any parallel with any individuals in history and apply them to Skinner's idea. It doesn't work that way, his goal was not the same.
If you genuinely weren't saying this, then explain what you did mean by telling me to look at history because that's the only thing I could gather.
Also, I want the other stuff answered.

What do you expect, we haven't had 3 years of tap or ballet.
We focused on finger-snaps and singing instead.

Power is just power. If you distribute power evenly among all the people, it can still be used for evil. See prop 8.
Or American Idol.
OH FUCK
I need to finish my report.
Thanks for reminding me FUCK FUCK Ok no more posts today from me I'm bouncing.
The 80s ruined classic gang violence.
Laughter is good for the soul.
That's terrible.
