We're gonna be staying around here (Seattle), since
we go home for Christmas every year
I just got back from flying home for my Grandma's funeral, so I don't wanna go on anymore long trips for a while
those are really the only reasons, I just felt like I should have a third thing, since I made this numbered list and all.
We don't really have anything lined up yet, but it will hopefully involved some fake turkey for me, some real turkey for Jordyn, and some absolutely delicious scalloped corn casserole thing for both of us god I love that fucking corn. So we're hoping to hook something up with some other folks.
So are you travelling across the whole planet for Thanksgiving? Are you cooking food for thirty-five people? Are you stuffing birds inside of other birds?
you're = you are
your = belonging to you
their = belonging to them
there = not here
they're = they are
1. Reading and writing for an American Medicine research paper.
2. Reading and writing for an Early Rome research paper.
3. Reading and writing for a Philosophy of Psychology paper.
Going down to Georgia with my folks and sister to see some old family friends
they will also have a bunch of guests, people they go to church with
and since they go to an Orthodox church, we will be dining with about 30 Russians, Romanians and god knows what other Eastern European nationals
I am very grateful for my health, my books and my MMOs.
I think my current plans for National Eat Like a Fat Ass day are going to my annoying ass cousin's house and debate with* my republican uncle. Probably about how Obama is not actually going to ruin the country.
We're having our annual Turkey Fry on Wednesday. My parents invite their friends so we end up having like 50 people over frying turkeys all night. It's usually pretty fun. Last year one of their friends walked through our glass screen door.

I think i'm headed to my mom's place to eat a shitload with my 2 brothers
first time we've all eaten together in like 7 years
I will be visiting my parents in my home town for the first time in a year. The last time I was back was last Christmas. It's also my dad's birthday, and my own, so I expect to be stuffed all week. Plus I only have a two day work week!
I'm thinking I might want to plan to do something different for the holidays either this Christmas or next year, sometime, as traveling so far twice in two months will be kind of difficult for me.
I'm going out to this cabin along a small inlet of the pacific ocean and having beers around a bonfire with a bunch of friends and then a whole load of food once it gets dark outside (3:00PM).
I will be enjoying the company of my family and stuffing myself with delicious turkey meats and various fixin's, finishing one research paper and starting two others. Also, I'll be studying for Math and Japanese in preparation for finals.
Also also, I'll be getting a hair cut because damn is my hair way too long.
I will be behind a register listening to every customer say "You have to work on Thanksgiving?".
But the owner is right, it wouldn't be very convenient of a store to be closed on holidays.
I actually don't mind because I will probably have family members and in-laws delivering hot plates of home-cooked goodness to me all night.
I remember back when I worked at a local grocery store as a bagger. We used to have to wheel shoppers' groceries out into the parking lot and load them into their cars. And, without fail, they would turn to me and say, "wow, it really must suck to have to work on [holiday/in the rain/on a nice day]." At first I wanted to say, "yeah, it really does, thanks for reminding me," but then I got over my punkass teenage self and moved on with life.
The turkey always is like, half eaten. Not even... It's the Ham that moves. The ham is delicious, turkey just is blah, unless you slather it with gravy. Then it tastes like gravy.

*Read as against.
wish I wasn't, though, since every single one of my friends will be home from college and I'd like to see them
but oh well
I have a 2-year-old nephew I've never seen so I guess that'll be cool too
first time we've all eaten together in like 7 years
i'll be hanging with my cousin and getting to try more of his awesome cooking.
Maybe we'll have lamb again...mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Glad I get to go back home for a bit, though.

Yes, the best thanksgiving is an early one.
But, now I've got a hankerin' for some turkey.
Turkey sucks.
The turkey always is like, half eaten. Not even... It's the Ham that moves. The ham is delicious, turkey just is blah, unless you slather it with gravy. Then it tastes like gravy.
Turkey > Ham on thanksgiving
deal with it
Lamb is delicious holiday food
man it's gonna be great
shut your mouth canadian thanksgiving isn't a real holiday
When it comes to length, I gotta hand it to Palin.
She's able to take an awfully long time to say absolutely nothing that couldn't be summed up to a single word responce.
