When I heard the Hong Kong stage's music from Deus Ex, I immediately remembered, "You get Rucky Munnee!"
.....
Does that make me a racist?
No, it makes you JC Denton, in da fresh

Fuck it, I'll do it. Fun and Minigames form Beyond Good & Evil. The best damn song in the game. I actually own 3 copies of the game too. I only need the Xbox version and I'll have them all.

Man, I forget how good the Sims music is. I can only assume I loved the hell out of that game because I always feel good whenever I hear it.
Mass Effect's been mentioned but I'm now going to try to find the main theme and intro to the game, because I get goosebumps every time I hear it. Just does everything right by me
Picking a single track from Unreal is really hard because it's one of the most consistently great (yet overlooked) soundtracks I've found. I think the title (actually ending) theme covers the overall style best in one track though.
So is there a limit to how many we can post at once? I'm approaching 30 songs already, though I did have to bend the OP's rules a bit (You'll understand when you see it. It's not too bad.)
Why not just post a handful of them now and then post some more tomorrow, day after that, etc.?
Because I'm on a roll. And I don't mind listening to some music as I'm "working". :P
Edit: Okay, I guess I'll post some once we hit the next page, because there really is a ton of stuff brewing. Then I'll post what I'm getting now at a later time.
Edit 2: Actually, I'm almost done! Prepare for a flood of happy awesomeness!
wonderful lead to something I forgot to post... Because when (yes, when) they do the next FF6 remake, this may be who I want to be Celes' English VA...
Portal - Still Alive
Since she IS an opera singer... according to the dev commentary, at least...
I'm not saying these are my all-time favourites, but they're just what comes to mind right away. I guess that's what makes good music "good". But holy damn, forcing me down to one song per game is making things frustrating, so you'll have to forgive me for how I've done this.
I tried to list only games exclusive to their platforms for the "one per game/three per platform" rule, so to make the most of it, I'm listing Game Boy Original and Game Boy Color as separate consoles.
I'm also including games on multiple platforms e.g. Soul Calibur 2 for PS2/GC/Xbox since they were released at the same time that way. I DO NOT mean something like Ocarina of Time for N64 but also Gamecube, or God knows how many versions of Final Fantasy IV.
..... and an Honourable Mention section as well, because it would just suck to miss out on those pieces as well. I hope you don't mind. Really, it only benefits you, because it's more good music. :P
Rhythm Tengoku: 3rd Remix (Is this a licensed song? I tried to avoid that........hence the Ouendan/Elite Beat Agents admissions in the DS section. :P )
There are the Soul Calibur 2 and Ikaruga songs I could've put in there for GC, and maybe something from Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland and Yoshi's Island for GBA, but like I said, I wanted to stick with exclusives (or at least where they were first released). Beyond that, I just haven't played enough GBA and Cube games yet.
And then there's the fact that I linked 41 FREAKING SONGS and I'm tired of searching.
F-Zero GX has an amazing soundtrack I agree. I'm a bit partial to Fire Field myself, since it sent my blood rushing the first time I saw footage of the game. From that moment on I knew I had to have it.

This is actually really good
But Command and Conquer has always had great music
And now I must post it because it is obligatory at this point

Thank You. Thank You.
Edit: Also, Olivaw? Someone posted Hell March back on Page 2, think you could switch it to Hell March 2 instead?

Hell, I'm looking forward to the second as much for the music as anything else.
The Sims: Build 6
I have over 5,000 songs on my playlist, and this is in the top ten most played.
Crystalis Intro Theme
Short, but sweet.
Tomb Raider: Inside The Pyramid
Why the hell did they remove the best track in the game in Anniversary?
PC:
Unreal: Main Title
Picking a single track from Unreal is really hard because it's one of the most consistently great (yet overlooked) soundtracks I've found. I think the title (actually ending) theme covers the overall style best in one track though.
Those were two that I felt just needed to be in a thread like this (that hadn't been posted already), I'll probably think of more later.

Astoundingly good stuff. Especially for a mod.

Angel's Fear/Where Angels Fear to Tread. The best song from Secret of Mana/SD3, no matter what it's called or how it's played.
Because I'm on a roll. And I don't mind listening to some music as I'm "working". :P

Perfectly captures what Megaman II's music was like, while almost upping the awesome!
SNES
Final Fantasy VI - Celes' Opera Scene music. Constructed of pure win.

When this starts playing you know that some serious shit is about to go down.
And the awesome orchestrated version
Gitaroo Man- Flying To Your Heart.(PS2)
Every song in Gitaroo Man is of course awesome, but I'm particularly fond of this one.
Super Mario Galaxy-Final Bowser Fight.(Wii)
Possibly the most epic Boss theme in a Mario game.
This is the best one
Gitaroo-Man, The Legendary Theme (it's the second part of the song)
Massive post incoming.
