you have to be awkwardly holding your ds adapter
so the electricity will spring out of the wall in anticipation of having the prong inserted into it's socket.
The more it happens in one sitting the more shot your nerves get. If you do it enough all of your muscles feel like shit. Exposed wires on the ends of extension cords suck. Replace them.
