    I am a great fan of city building game.... used to Play Civilization. Awesome game. Simcity 2000. Cityville, Millionaire City...
    now playing Eden Story on facebook. This one is a killer. Highly recommended.

    You drug up a year old thread and recommend a couple of Facebook games for your first post?

    Anyway, I played some of the f2p Stronghold game, and decided to check out the actual series since they were on sale on Steam for like $12 (for ALL of them) Pretty interesting and somewhat fun, though at times you seem to be fighting the UI when placing things like walls.
    Luckily you can rotate the camera.

    I just signed up for this forum and stumbled upon this thread as I was searching for city building gamers....
    I used to be on Steam too.... played CS and still amongst my favorite. a classic game.

    Yeah, that's thread necromancy and I've been infracted for that before. I would be cautious in the future, its only a few infraction points but we want you to get a good start here.

    I got this for free some years ago but I've gotten back into it and the campaign missions are very well craft, except for that damn time limit mission.

    I just picked up Tropico 4 and it's pretty fun, lots of tongue in cheek humor. Got through first two missions, and just failed the third when world economy went into a downturn and my tourism based economy went into an unrecoverable tailspin.
