    2. When Snyder was responding to all the BRING BACK THE SQUID "petitions" and all the screaming people he said something like, "Why are people pissed about that? Why aren't they worried about whether or not the Vietnamese woman the comedian shoots is pregnant or not, or if "God is real and he's American" was a line that we were allowed to put into the movie."

    So he didn't really SAY they had to change that stuff but I read that as him saying they were forced to take those two things out.

    It's a fucking shame those two things couldn't make it into the movie, because they would make it so much better (as better as little scenes like that can make it and add to the picture, not to mention to the character of the comedian) and the only reason they're not in is because they're too un-P.C.? The movie is rated R, being politically correct shouldn't be an issue after that.

    Her being pregnant is really just icing. The fact that he shoots a woman purely because she pisses him off and he wants nothing more to do with her is the really important thing.

    The fact that she is pregnant in the comic just makes it much more horrible than a regular woman-shooting because he's killing both her and his own offspring. Yes, the latter would have a bigger impact, but it should still have the same effect on establishing the Comedian as a remorseless monster.

    The whole point of what Zack was saying is here is some shit I fought for and is probably in in contrast to the giant squid.

    Trent came to the wrong conclusion because he has done a lot of drugs.

    Yeah, definitely. When I think about scenes like this I just can't help but think there's no way this movie won't be the best film of 2009.

    so! both of the songs in the latest trailer are from philip glass' Koyaanisqatsi; the second one you know already, but the first one is neat in it's use in the trailer in that it's called "Prophecies"

    I used to read a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog comics when I was real little.

    Other than that I've read Batman: The Long Halloween, Bone, and Watchmen, and I think that's all.
