the demo for skate 2 hits Xbox Live tomorrow (next thursday on PSN), and the full game hits on the 21st

i loved the first one so much and i know a lot of people here did too. all the previews i've read have said it's the same game plus more, so i'm super excited for it

the demo's gonna have two multiplayer modes: Hall of Meat (who can injure themselves the most) and Spot Battle (who can get the most points on the most spots). plus single-player

who's down for some skating

    I really enjoyed the first one, though I didn't play it as much as I might have preferred.

    I never beat the first one because I got stuck on some video challenges and couldn't find good spots to do them at. But this one lets you make your own spots, so that shouldn't be too much of a problem!

    that's the best part of it. you get better while you play

    you can technically do all the tricks at the very beginning of the game but if it's your first time playing you're not gonna pull them off

    I'm excited about this one if only because my friends and I spent most of that time in that game trying to break the most bones possible. And now that's the whole point. It's like the reached into my dreams and pulled out the non-dirty parts and created them digitally.

    There was this one thing where it kept telling me to manual across 2 round platforms, or near them, but every time I tried, it said I failed. Story of my life.

    Jesus Christ I was such skater trash back in the day; my bangs came down to my chin, the sides were shaved and the back was trimmed to the skin to about the middle of my ear. I wore flannel all the time, HUGE jeans and ohmygod I just realized that I still own my Airwalks: tan suede with white, flattened soles.

    One time we went up to this grassy hill and I was gonna ride a skateboard down it, but fuck me I had no idea how to ride a skateboard, so I sat down on it because the hill was like... the length of a football field and of a fairly steep angle.

    You know what? Fuck it.
