Giinii movit Mini or DSi

So I would like mobile internet and carrying around my laptop hurts.

So the question is, for me, do I get a DSi or a GiiNii Mobile Mini?

Both have the internet and because I am not a real cell phone person, I would be better off getting one of those compared to an iphone or blackberry or palm.

I want of the two for their size and mobility. Games wouldn't be an issue, since the internet always have a solution and since they're both under $200, price isn't an issue.

The GiiNii will be much better for internet, and the DSI much better, of course, for games.

The DSi's two 256x160 screens are perfect for pixel art, but I can't imagine browsing the web on them would be very enjoyable. The Movit Mini's 480x272 screen, with the right scaling algorithms, should do pretty well.

Have you considered the iPod Touch? Android is super awesome, but the Giinii has a resistive touchscreen which is kind of a bummer.

Even the cheapest one is above $200, also, no flash

Assuming the DSi's browser is the same as the DSLs, it sucks goat semen through a straw.
It may be labelled Opera, and technically it is, but it sure as shit works nowhere near as nicely.

The Nintendo DS will never be powerful enough to handle most web browsing. The DSi's 256 MB of memory might help this out, but the processor is still too slow for all but the most basic of web pages.

Which is why the DS Browser comes with a memory expansion cart that you put in the GBA slot... which the DSi does... not... have... Hmm.

DSi doesn't support flash either, though it does come packaged with the Opera browser from what I've read.

Ok, $229. It's still what I would get if I wanted a small device for the internet (and I didn't have a G1).

Haier, of all companies, might have something you want to look at too, although it won't be out for months.
