Alright, so some of you guys are aficionados of film. Great. Cool.
You are cool dudes.
But man,
sometimes I must let people know.Let em' know some shit.
If you are any sort of fan of crime films at all, or of the Coen Brothers, then you gotta see Miller's Crossing.
This movie has everything I like about crime movies, and perfect dialogue for a period piece like this, son.
Gabriel Byrne plays Tom Reagan, an advisor to a mob boss in the prohibition era. His cunning and detachment are his tools for life in this rough world, but when he lets his emotions get in the way in one critical situation he's gotta use all his cunning and sweet talk to survive.
I ain't as verbose as a lot of you but I want to talk with cats who have watched this and people who get done watching it.
The operative word here is WATCH THIS FUCKING MOVIE.
HERE IS A TRAILER, SHITHEAD :

that was good, right
edit: woops accidently used shift

i was just speculatin' about a hypothesis
i know i don't know nothin
Also this movie makes me want to drink whiskey and brandy a lot.
Every goddamn time when a boss in a gangster movie is about to be killed I start groaning because they always seem so mailed in.
But then that old man went fucking crazy.
I like how there were like 100 bodyguards outside of his office afterwards. Like he knew the bad guys knew they would need to send a friggin army after him next time.
Except the Ladykillers.
Pffffffffffffft.
ladykillers was ok
much better than most of the shit that is released
I haven't actually seen it
but I figured I had a large enough sample of coen brothers movies that I could comfortably say that
i love this movie so dang much. gabriel byrne is such a great actor
i don't know what bootleg copy you guys watched
i'm basically a sucker for any movie with john goodman, up to and including coyote ugly
the whole time i'm like
"atlas?"
don't move for 2 hours
John Goodman is awesome
One of the reasons why I watched Roseanne
And every Coens movie is worth seeing, they arent all amazing but none of them are bad.
bar-ton fink!
yeah everybody should definitely watch this movie
shouldn't have even said coen
sigh
it's not like I didn't know miller's crossing was by the coens
it was the thread denizens as a whole
Also, Ladykillers was pretty entertaining. Couldn't complain about anyone in it.
Especially Hanks. I love his movies.
Jesus, that's strange.
