A lot of people on here play music; some are even rocking enough to be in a band. I'm not awesome enough to be in one, but I would like to share some music, and listen to some of your brain drippings.

A bunch of my friends have formed together to create Senator Fightmaster, and they're looking for feedback on their new album, which can be found here:
http://www.myspace.com/senatorfightmaster

They're also in a competition to win the chance to play a set at a prominent local venue, via http://www.eugenechosen.com/blog/ Earlier today, we made this video for the competition:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YENhUtwLCk

So please, share the stuff you have, I always like listening to new music.

Edit: Put in a better URL to their songs

Okay, I can't figure this out -- Are Big Ass Manatee's vocals a really, really good cover, or did they take the vocal part from the songs and create the music around it?

Thee Armada - I know the lead singer because he works at the Best Buy that all my friends work at. They just got named Best Houston Band by 94.5 The Buzz for those of you that live in Texas.

Mechanical Boy - They always play with Thee Armada and I actually like them better.

I've seen them both like 7 or 8 times live.

Thee Armada I saw for the first time playing in one of my friend's backyards at a party.

The Wednesday Night Heroes - If you like good hardcore punk, you should dig this band. Open Fire and Action are the two I'd listen to first.

Ten Second Epic - Pop punk, but actually pretty decent. No auto-tuning crap. They're probably one of the more popular bands (at least in Canada) from Edmonton currently. Their third CD came out on Tuesday.

Oh man, I'm with you, Mechanical Boy is MUCH more my type of music. However, Thee Armada will probably be really successful with that good pop-ish sound they have going.

That has some pretty good acoustic guitar work to it. I'm not as much a fan of the vocals, but it's just not my style is all. If anyone else here likes them some good guitar, check this one out.

BtBaM is from around my area. I'm pretty proud of that I guess.

Glass Casket is as well but I'm not a big fan of them.

Then there are a handful of smalltime hardcore bands that I don't care for.

I watched a video of you playing acoustic solo, outside on a stage about a year ago. Ive seen some clips of the same show, but ive been searching for that particular song since then and cant find it.

Find it. And then tab it out for me. I guitar challenge you.

I was in a band once!

Here is a shitty recording of us!

I am the gross nerd with the mandolin and the suit jacket the banjo player bought for me while I was not there and he insisted I wear it even though it was too short and later write a run on sentence about it.

My friends are in a different band and they are actually much more talented and contemporary.
