man i know less than nothing when it comes to big festivals like coachella, but leonard cohen?
i mean, i love a lot of his stuff and saw him in hamilton near the end of last summer, but 99% of the crowd was at least twice my age (55+). granted that could have just been the city and venue, but i dont see a lot of festival folk lovin' some cohen.
good on him for doing it though. he's still got voice and the style.

Why is TV on the Radio playing at a festival with a headline act of a dinosaur like Paul McCartney?
probably because they're both awesome
Prince headlined one of the nights last year
Roger Waters another
edit: and McCartney just released another record with Youth under 'The Fireman', called Electric Argument, and it's pretty good
It's like watching drunken karaoke night on a big stage.
I've always heard she puts on a great live show, if she's not too fucked up to remember her lyrics
but if you're at coachella you're probably too fucked up to remember her forgetting her lyrics
remember when coachella was good
