The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
E.R. is a popular television show about an emergency room in Chicago. George Clooney used to be on it and now it's terrible and is about to be canceled. Not even John Stamos could save it.
I know what E.R. is. I didn't watch it so I was lost when you were talking about him.
I watched his death scene on youtube though. That guy must have no luck.
I still can't wrap my head around why they desided that was a good idea.
"Hey drug addicts are reliable right?"
They thought they could control him using his addiction. Yeah, that worked out well.
Keeping someone on a short leash via drug addiction can be a pretty good way to keep someone in control, depending on how good a manipulator the dealer is. But, uh, the addict being turned into a walking tank raises the stakes a little.
Honestly the whole Robocop 2 idea was pretty poorly thought through on OCP's part. I'm sure it sounded great on paper, but really someone should of stepped back and said "you know, soemthing about this could easily go terible wrong and be the death of us all"

When have you ever known a major company to back down from doing something profoundly stupid?
I guess they thought nothing could go wrong controlling a junkie through his habit.
This is why when i get my moralless corperation off the ground we're going to have several childern on staff and we will runt he gyst of our plans by them, see fi they think there is something profoundly wrong with it.
"Okay, kids, now if we rip a very bad man's central nervous system from his body and put it in a hulking harbinger of metallic death, then seek to exercise control over this cybernetic monstrosity by feeding its pre-exsisting hallucinagenic drug habit in a misguided effort to force some twisted measure of rehabilitiation via depravation-coercion, would you say that this is:
A) Good
Bad
C) A Basket Full of Puppies"

The only problem with my plan is when we tyr to deside of cloned dinosaurs turned into a cyborg strike force would be a good idea. I don't know a child alive who would say no to that.
it's better than Dresden Kodak now because the dude from pictures for sad children wrote it
I actually like DC. Even the hob arc, or at least most of it.
I always lean towards anything really different, and DC is loaded with stylish art and all kinds of really neat ideas.
Now, if it just made any fucking sense, other people would probably like it more. I've gone through the hob arc a few times and I still don't really get it.
Also, the panel arrangement on a lot of the pages is kind of disorienting.

I have a confession
I have never read Dresden Kodak
Posts
I could have sworn he was dead. Ah well, respect that he had the sense to turn down RC3 then.
They were probably right, since RC2 turned out wonderful.
Man I saw these on TV that was fucking forever ago.
He had no voice at all, just a little video screen with a 3D render of his face.
That voiceless scream was chilling.
Miller wrote Robocop 3 too
"Hey drug addicts are reliable right?"
I guess his works are only good when he has someone with some talent to reign him in.
(See: Sin City)
They thought they could control him using his addiction. Yeah, that worked out well.
That shit was ill.

The comic that made the CSI Miami "Driving in the Kitchen" joke.
it's that one, because I guess I'm terrible
they needed him to be more X-TREME I guess
Again, that worked out well.

That is one of the best things I have ever read.
