So I just went to the brain doctor for the first time and have officially joined the ranks of people on some scrips

He is putting me on zoloft and xanex, the former to be taken every day, the latter when needed

What is it like to be on drugs

    Even if I ever get depression I don't think I'll ever want to take pills for it.

    the only prescription medication I need right now is a pure adrenalin drip and a good looking woman.

    that reminds me of a joke i made last night;

    I've always been staunchly anti-being on prescription drugs, I didn't even go in there wanting anti-depressants

    But I dun told the doc what was up and he was all "word, take zoloft" and I was all "shucks"

    I don't think medical doctors can accurately diagnose depression. Therapists or psychiatrists, maybe, after a few sessions, but your average physician doesn't treat for depression, just being depressed.

    i was misdiagnosed when i was in high school
    what was simply teenage angst was mistaken for deep depression
    so i was put on paxil

    and later zoloft when the paxil proved to be too strong
    it was the worst few years of my life by far
    it almost killed me and i hated everything about it

    but i didn't need them, so...there ya go.

    Yeah I am pretty unsure about my feelings with regard to taking anti-depressants

    reefer has always been my anti drug
