    I'm in the preparatory stages of writing a doctoral dissertation in philosophy.

    That means I'll probably be a professor in about 3 years, assuming I can find a job.

    I want to get fluent in Japanese. Ideally I'd like a job that would require Japanese fluency, but I'd be happy teaching anthropology at the junior college level, using anthropology for market research, or working in the study abroad department of a university. I've already got a Master's, so no more school for me. Beyond that, I want to have a family, be a good father, and try to make my time count.
