    Haven't 'drank' for seven months and counting, aside from the occasional sip when a buddy gets a new beer to try.

    Oh man, the Flying Dog stuff is pretty good, they sell variety packs around here.

    I like their Imperial Porter and Double IPA way better than the regular stuff they put out.

    Beer of choice though is Kona Longboard.

    STORY TIME

    Two years ago, the administration at PSU decided to schedule Spring Break over St. Patty's Day. They have since rectified this.

    The reason was, I assume, to curb drinking, since we're a drinking school through and through.

    Well that doesn't fly here at the number 3 party school in the nation.

    The student body banded together to make what is my favorite holiday ever: State Patty's Day.

    The Saturday before spring break for us is State Patty's Day. It is a day of drink. Today we also happened to have School of Music auditions. Well I played the morning shift... then starting at noon-ish?

    I joined the Day-long bender. Right now I'm recovering, and still considering going out again.

    Don't buy the In Heat Wheat Hefeweizen it is horribly bitter and not at all good.

    I forgot to get any tonic water when I bought it and all my friends thought the bottle looked cool and wanted to try it. They all agreed it was some strong strong stuff. Leaves a very nice, smooth, fruity aftertaste though.

    I've never had the inclination to try Rangpur. It seems like the Tanq would have been above selling a flavored version of its already excellent liquor.

    Also Khavall - we did that at my school for Easter. People group together, by a few dozen kegs, hide them in the woods on Saturday night, and then Sunday morning everyone gets up around 7am for the Easter Keg Hunt.

    It's not banana rum, the flavor is very distinct and not false tasting at all. Gin is already flavored with fruit, they're just adding another one in.

    Specifically Juniper Berries.


    Depending on when the flavor is added, Some Gin is just flavored Vodka.


    Which is why almost every Vodka or Gin recipie is interchangable with the other.

    Because bourbon isn't strong enough below 50% alcohol Goddammit. Bourbon is what I would drink if I was an alcoholic because obviously if I was an alcoholic I would hate myself and I would drink something that tasted like hate.
