That face is creepy, and past the uncanny valley for me
You know, I must be a minority, because I like building PC's, and I manage to be perfectly happy with a middle end PC while playing brand new games. 30 FPS of Crysis on high through this, or 45FPS of Crysis on low on my PC. I also like the messing with physical media, and having nice big boxes decorating my PC desk
Hey, a good thing that will come from this is that there will be 100% less crap PC ports, just they better still get retail or at least Steam, because I hate change in my gaming

I really thought that the intro movie was made for the conference, but apparently it's what actually plays when you start up
Crysis looked pretty damn good too, and shit seemed to happen instantaneously when they selected a game or a video or whatever option on the menu
I still want to know how Gamestop will deal with this. They've been pissy with Steam and Greenhouse for a while , but how will they deal with something that potentially makes their business model obsolete?
I've seen some real douchebags talk about some real shitty games
I've even watched G4
Maybe I'm densensitized, but these guys seem knowledgable and have some concept of how public speaking works, plus what they're talking about is interesting

Welp, I'm sold
Signed up for their beta, we'll see just how reasonable their prices are when they announce them
This is actually really exciting, to see the potential for something like this. I don't want to use words like "revolutionize" because they're overused to the point of losing impact, but damn, if this doesn't merit that word what exactly does?
I find their current library of games is rather shallow. Its really only like a dozen games. Now some of them will benefit more from spectators and stuff like that like UT3, but eh... some games like Bioshock... not so much.
They don't even mention MMOs at all either.
However, this service would kick ass for Lets Play!'s. I wonder if they will even have a demo to try it out for 5 days or whatever...

I'm still having a hard time believing this is real
It's as if the Phantom suddenly materialized in my living room and actually worked like they said it would, it's that shocking
But man, they have so many technological hurdles to overcome, I wonder if they can really make it work
@Cynic: You really think that's what they'll be launching with? That's all they're showing at GDC. I imagine, with the publishers they've got lined up, that they'll have more than twelve games available by summer

This is the silliest argument to make. This was a demo of big names from their major publisher partners.
Yeah. I think for me right now the input lag thing worries me way too much. The beta will tell, though.
I think this is where gaming is going - it's the logical point we're travelling to with all our DRM troubles and whatnot - but it's not going there yet.

Wait, wait, 504! We're moving up in the world!
I'm in! Going to try and hit up the Beta sign up link.
Trying to watch it but GameSpot's player is pretty shitty

I want to punch them in the face
Yes
Err, on OnLive*
At that point I don't think it would be an Xbox game anymore, and I doubt Microsoft will let 1st party stuff be published on this.

Christ this is actually real isn't it

Shit could get real.
.. I can't believe that just came out of my keyboard
These guys are nerdy, but they're definitely not the worst people I've ever seen give a demo for a video game product

How could you not cringe when that happened
yeah, it's not bad at all since they haven't dwelled on anything specifically boring
anything boring is passed over pretty quick, as opposed to some conferences I've seen/been to
I've watched YouTube LPs before
I've seen Kazi Hirai give demos

I've even watched G4
