    I INVENTED THE APOTHECARY.

And yes, the combo is powerful, but that doesn't mean people understood how to use it in the current state of balance. What with the wargear and all.. I just hoped to clarify things for fellow SM.

Maybe the heal does that at level five or something, but not at level one. It only does about 50 instant and maybe 100 over time.

Also, did you guys know that the amazing brightlance, with it's .03 chance to hit not-buildings or tanks, targets commanders over razorbacks? Way to go, Relic.

So speaking of lesbian Howling Banshee Exarchs with mirrorswords that everyone wants to make out with, DoW2's exarch looks pretty cool with mirrorswords.

It's kind of implied they're all male, especially in 3rd edition, but never really stated explicitly like with Banshees being only female.

Someone posted something in one of the previous threads about how Eldar changed gender roles on a whim and often lived as either gender depending on what they felt like doing at the time, but it's not official as far as I know. It was probably one of those "fanfluff" things people post on the internet sometimes, like that huge female space marine write up I found once.

Hmmmm, possibly. I played the tabletop for years but never really got into too much Eldar fluff so I just took it as canon when someone told me that.

All I have to say is that before I wrote that story, Akira and I had a very in depth discussion about the possibilities of female Striking Scorpians.

There's nothing concrete that says they can't be female. There's nothing concrete that says any gender can't belong to any Aspect and just because there aren't any female Striking Scorpion minis doesn't mean female Scorpion Exarchs can't exist and make out with Banshee Exarchs.

There are female guardsmen too, but you don't see any standard female guardsman minis.

That depends on your hero...Warboss is a counter all on his own. Kommando can probably instagib a couple of them...

Mekboy has a really hard time but you could always do what I do when I face an apoth: kill him, they go down pretty easy really.

The best way to deal with an apoth is with vehiciles since he has no anti armor. Though any smart spess mehreen will never send his apoth anywhere alone.

Chances are if you see an apoth you can bet your orkish ass there are a few million spess mehreens you CANT see.

Well, I've never found anything like that in official sources and I have looked. Neither has Akira and he's a tabletop Eldar person.

It's either someone's bad fan addition to the fluff or an old Rogue Trader thing that's been phased out.

I don't know if I've ever seen a guardian unit with no helmet, I always assumed that especially guardians were a mix of men and women.

I've read the second edition stuff, and eldar codex probably 1,000 times and have never seen anything about eldar changing sexes. My vote on that one leans towards bad fanfluff.

So lastnight me and 4 friends wanted to play, but we were missing a 6th for a private 3v3. I nominated to have an expert CPU Player on my team and he spent the final half of the game building Deff Dreads and just standing them around his base.

By the end of it, he had 9 Dreads, all doing nothing. (There are 2 more you can see on the radar)

It wouldn't have lost us the game if he actually marched them out of our base!

Technically, neither are extremely tight pants and fishnet shirts.

But men don't exactly wear those, and it's considered odd when they do.
