[Mini-Phalla] Cube - Cube Victory!

It might as well be a coffin, for you know that you will die here.

You've watched people die, victims of the horrible traps that infest
every level of this diabolical labyrinth.

A mathematical prodigy managed
to figure out the way to the layer in which the exit hides, but now he's dead.
He fell from the ladder while climbing out of the last room.

Or was he pushed.

What was your name again? You who have made it this far.

You, the one with that desperate and crazed look in your eye.

You will die here.

This is a MINI Phalla, based around the horror film, Cube. While it's not an entirely traditional phalla, there is a majority that can work together to escape, and a few who have other ideas.

There are no vanilla roles.

Sign ups will be only 9 players, with 3 reserve slots. The game may or may not be balanced, we'll have to find out. Vote close will be Midnight EST.

Rules

Normal phalla etiquette applies. No anonymous contact, no posting or quoting pms, including role pms. No contact with the dead, etc.

Your goal unless otherwise stated is to escape the Cube.
You will do this by !Voting in lime for a direction to move the group.

Before you move however, you must make it out of the room you are in.

Each day, before movement, you must decide how you are going to navigate the room you are currently in.

Send your action to me via PM, though you may announce your action to the thread if you wish.

You may:
Sneak
Walk
or Run

Each action may or may not be the correct way to navigate the room safely.

Example: Day X the narration states that there is an exit to the north and to the east.
You would vote either !North or !East and the majority winner is the room everyone will move to.
You would PM me, say Walk. You'd then either live or die based on the room.

It's a small game, be active. You'll be replaced if you miss a green vote.

If people are active enough and I get all votes and actions quickly, I may update on a faster schedule than once a day, though that will be the default.

I liked it. It's more psychological horror than gore horror, though there is some of that too. Slow paced.

The room you are entering has a checkerboard floor, with lights glowing eerily from behind the white panels.

The group whispered, "Should we run for it?" "Should we go slow?" "I think it's a safe room, I'm walking."

Wait, what's that? A shoe lay on one of the black panels, with the remains of a foot still lodged in it.

"We can use that! Someone grab it." "I don't want to grab it, you grab it."

I'm taking it very slow, and not dealing with 3 dimensions in this version of the game. You won't have to worry about going up or down. The Cube is effectively 2d.

I'm sure we want the shoe. I doubt the shoe would trigger the trap if there is one. It would likely be a trap that would set off regardless of if a person had died in the room previous to us. I would guess that this first room is safe (or hope so at least).

The direction we go at this point shouldn't matter since we do not know any information about room colors or traps. I am leaning toward East and Obbi if you want to try to pick up the shoe I am not going to stop you. It will certainly help us later, and I can't think of any devious reason you would risk death for the shoe.

I also suggest you sneak across in case the traps are pressure sensitive
(and yes I've learned there are indeed pressure sensitive traps in that room)

That's true. Again I don't think this room is going to be really punishing so I don't think it should matter what everyone but obbi does. I think he should sneak while the rest of us either run/walk to the east.
