If a teenage girl has a method of recording images of herself, she will. Combine this with an overwhelming and illogical (logical warnings about the dangers only work to prepare them for the consequences, not stop the behaviour entirely) desire to be popular and have a boyfriend, and you've got a scenario in which no amount of "you are creating child pornography" or "thats irresponsible" will really have an impact.
Basically, teach your kids the dangers of it, tell them you're there for them, and make sure they respect their own bodies enough to not send out a bucketload of pics to any old boy. Frankly though the fact that pedos might jerk it to their pic when their boyfriend inevitably dumps them and spreads it online is an angle that will just not dissuade them in the slightest when they are madly hormonal and sexually active.
The main thing is to just keep a tab on their internet usage, keep the door open, and dont give them shitloads of cash to spend on texts.
