    I'm pretty sure that to date I have never once managed, online or in a real game, to land a 'just pray for a 20' roll

    Maybe I'll learn to tip dice like those guys in Las Vegas, except instead of cheating casinos to win thousands at craps, I'll just be shooting pretend robots

    The dogfight rules are on page 171 of the Star Wars Saga Edition rulebook.

    Attack of Opportunity: If an enemy starfighter tries to move through your square or an adjacent square, you may attempt to initiate a dogfight as an attack of opportunity. If successful, the enemy starfight must stop moving.

    well see i didnt have no idea what their Reflex was

    but also i didn't account for not being proficient

    so it should've been like 6 down, so im not gonna risk the FP

    My intention was more that it was a 'freighter' in name only... think of it more as a big Y-wing :). It's a relatively cheap design, made to drop down on top of a cargo container and pick that up with clamps, so it actually doesn't have much in the way of cargo space.

    so yeah, it's nimble enough (after a fashion) to be in a dogfight. Out here on the Outer Rim, what with the wars and pirates that come with that, ships had to be pretty capable. It may be slow, but it can still do some fun stuff. It's been souped up just a touch with those fun guns and shields--the Bandomeer Run is a dangerous place.

    Also, the Jedi should probably shoot something.

    Just to add to the freighter dogfight discussion, freighters can engage in dogfights if they have Combat Thrusters (p. 40, Starships of the Galaxy). It also treats you as a size category smaller in terms of being targeted by capital ship weaponry.
