A couple friends and I are doing a Secret Santa this year, and I decided I would get mine a really ridiculous comic. The person isn't really into comic books that much, and it's more of a gag gift, so it doesn't really matter what title/publisher. I was thinking maybe Luke Cage: Hero For Hire #7-8, for the "Where's my money, honey?" line, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to find it at my shop. Anyone have any suggestions for really over the top single issues/trades that would be good for this if I can't find them, or some better suggestions?
Since he's not really into comic books, I don't think he'll be able to really appreciate the subtle nuances in Liefeld's art.
The Lois Lane suggestion was spot-on. I may see if they have some of the those and the Jimmy Olson ones. Those are all pretty great, if only for the covers.

(that's Michael Turner's art)
My favorite part of that cover is how everyone is looking in a different direction

That always confused me.
I mean, he's Superman.
He can throw people into the sun.
How is THIS the "perfect murder"?

FINE.
And yes, that cover was drawn by Mike Mignola.
Well, Liefeld did the interiors, but, yeah, Turner and Liefeld are a killer combination.

Seconded.
This is what you get someone when you want to crush their spirit and leave them a whimpering, empty shell.
I actually own this... A new batman against the Joker virus.
It's sure to offend him on at least one level.
I thought Battle Pope was funny....
Doom Force was a parody of Liefelds X-Force. Somebody needs a katana or something on there to complete the picture.
