The funniest way people in this country 'get it twisted,' so to speak, is that the hardcore evangelicals decry the separation of church and state.
The separation of church and state is meant to protect the church from the state, not the other way around. If you give the state authority to support a religion, you are also giving it tacit authority to do the exact opposite.
yeah but on the whole they did a pretty good job. i mean, they did a pretty good job with the bill of rights.
i always wonder what would've happened had the british allowed south carolina to stop bringing in slaves sometime during the 1750's like they wanted to.
not stop slavery, but would it have been less prevalent? i like to think so.

they are indeed. 902 is decriminalization, if you have under an ounce of pot it's just a class c misdemeanor
and 164 is affirmative defense in court if prescribed medical marijuana

but they were only human and couldn't see the future and would have had no way to plan for some of the things we're dealing with now
