After taxes and fees, it's a little over 9 grand, and only has 28k on it
It's in beautiful shape. The only problem is, it's the base model and is a little sickly when it comes to getting up to speed but other than that I can pretty much drive it till it falls apart
Unlike the Taurus, where it fell apart a week after we bought it
i enjoy destroying the environment so i drive a 15mpg truck
My 4x4 gets about 15MPG
Of course it doesn't have second or fourth gear right now, so it's actually getting something like 5 MPG while I drive it around the property until I can get a new transmission for it

i was forbidden from getting a 4wd vehicle.
apparently they know me too well.
but my truck is light enough and got some decent tires on it and i'm fairly smart about driving it in shitty conditions when i'm at the ranch or other places that i don't worry about it getting stuck too much.
hell, i've even taken it crawling up some pretty steep hills without much difficulty and shitty tires that had to be destroyed after 15k miles
what kind of 4x4 do you got?
