I was in a show choir when I was in high school; watching this show brings back painful memories. Our group was more like that "villain" group the kids are working hard to beat, so maybe regular groups aren't as crazy and this show is actually super accurate? We never got to sing anything like the rehab song though

It seems to me that the show is going in the direction of ending up so that everyone in the school is a fantastic singer and just nobody knew it and then by the end of the show, everyone is going to be a part of glee club and there's going to be just a giant finale number with the entire cast of the show singing.
The second episode is the best because it had the best Jane lynch lines. The third show didn't have enough Jane lynch. Though it almost made up for it with more puck. Also the second episode had the best song performance with take a bow. Loved all the 90s songs in the third episode though
oh right I think I did and then before we really talked about anything I fell asleep
Was there even something to talk about? I was kind of confused, but mostly because it didn't occur to me that the mystery IMer might be an internet person.
I'm glad there will be other guys in the choir besides the cripple, the fag, and the dead-faced guy. Is fag going to stay on the football team? I was spacing at the end and couldn't remember if he quit or not after the game.
I don't think he quit, but I'd be surprised if we saw him doing it again.
It's one of those weird things for me. There were guys in the show choir at my school who were on the cheerleading squad, the football team, the student council, etc. Do other high schools out there really have this mindset that you can only do one thing? Druhim or Stale, answer me!

As a band kid, I think this show is weird and deserves teasing on the bus rides to shows

Yeah, the same thing at my school. There were drama kids heavily involved in football or basketball, and if you were in choir, chances were you were also in either band or drama or both.

it was very much this way at my HS.
But that was over a decade ago.
And in the middle of a corn field.
But yeah. If you played sports, you didn't even attend the drama performances, let alone take part.
I don't think our school had such rigid castes, but football took ridiculous amounts of time, so I think that's why so few of them did any other significant extracurricular activities.
my school was pretty fluid. Hell I was in Band, choir, drama, track, weight lifting, wrestling for awhile, student council, and the IT club and I was prom king.
But my ex's school was totally a sterotype. Like at her senior prom the cheerleaders forced out off the dance floor and all the popular kids treated her whole group, and me, like shit. I was really flabbergasted to find out there really was a school like that.

Yep
Thankfully I'm a much more social kid compared to most of the other band geeks
I just realized that Fox is going to make $Texas off every glee club/high school in the fucking world buying the arrangements of the songs they put in this show

As if they knew how todo their job!!
Someone call the press, I figured shit out.
like, want to find an excuse to put it at the end of a show I'm planning
seeing as the show is Dr Horrible I don't know how I can justify but for fuck's sake it's so good
you better get us some video caps of that you hoor
then I'll have Moist come out and say "hey, do you guys want to end this on a happy note?"
then bam
some day, though!
And that's pretty awesome.
I watched the pilot and I was just like ugh
Well of course YOU wouldn't like it; you saw me in Rigoletto
Bitches can't compare to my mad courtier skillz
(all the courtiers were great)
And Richard was fingering his vagina jacket on stage and I had to not look at that because it made me laugh
You don't like this new musical show?
What are you, gay?
You didn't put that together too well.
luckily I watched episode 2 first and got hooked
I just put that together.
probably

and then awkwardly saying hi/falling into drug-induced sleep
I have not watched last nights episode yet.
