    Hahaha, nice totp! I think PoP is more-so emotional if you take the time to talk to the female character in between bosses too (you can choose to chat her up throughout the game or not).

    Yeah, I'm very blessed/lucky to have landed the job I did. Especially so quickly.

    It's not quite a crying game, maybe a bit teary, but no crying (at least not for manly men).

    Job is excellent, I'm designing/illustrating 2D sprites (and a bit of animation) for iphone games as well as just helping come up with general design ideas - it's a small company. I might also get to design websites for our games as well. Our goal is to eventually get stuff on wii ware, Live arcade and whatnot but starting with iPhone stuff for now.
    aw cool that sounds like a fun job :D
    i always kinda wanted a job doing like, small web games or phone games
    i think i'd do good at that stuff

    What a boring Memorial Day weekend. I lost my phone, so if I don't call people, I end up sitting at home with my dog. I don't mind though, we're best buds.

    Also, I've never seen Madagascar or Madagascar 2 and I never intend to. It looks stupid.

    Also also, if SD4 was on Wiiware and had irrational waggle controls it would be like the best thing ever.

    I saw Madagascar 2 and nearly cried with laughter, but I'm with you on Madagascar.

    Kung Fu Panda had me with that opening animation, you know the super stylized one with all the ninja crocodiles and bunnies. I also feel like no one else saw Meet The Robinsons, which is a total shame. I saw that on a friday night with two other adult males, in a theater with like, two moms and some sleeping babies, and we enjoyed the shit out of it.

    I heard Meet the Robinson's was good, but I have yet to see it.

    Unfortunately it came out around the time of Disney's switch from making Disney movies, to making Pixar movies. At least that's why I overlooked it.

    By the way, ND, the picture on your about page doesn't align correctly in IE on Windows, mainly because the stylesheet specifies padding, whereas defining it through margin would be more compatible. There seem to be some compatibility issues with the padding-top as well, for some reason, which might be best solved by setting the paddingabout class as a float (after which you'd have to set the right margin to 0px), with a clear: left.

    EDIT: For some reason, you'd also have to increase the margin-right of paddingabout to 18px if you wanted to get it to look exactly the way it is now with other browsers.
    I have far too much time on my hands

    Don't know if you caught this, ND...

    Oh, no I didn't. Thanks for the info! :D

    And goddamn you, IE. What version do you see it in? I've checked my site on the school's computers, and everything seemed fine, but maybe I missed this. Either that, or it appeared fine in the version of IE that they're using, and some other version is screwing up.

    Oh bajesus I don't want to go back to bugfixing. D: I've never used floats. They look scary.

    Is it really a noticeable thing, or is it just off by a few pixels? I'll re-check it tomorrow and see if I can see what you're talkin' 'bout.

    It's pretty off; I'm using IE 8, though it's broken in (presumably IE7-emulative) compatibility mode, as well: Linked for hscroll shenanigans

    It shouldn't be too hard to fix, like I said; here's all you gotta do:
    • Change paddingabout so it looks like this:
      img.paddingabout {
        float: left;
        clear: left;
        margin: 6px 18px 8px 0px;
        padding: 0px;}

    • Move the p tag so that it comes before the img tag.

    It makes me wish I was watching painted poop dry for starters! I dunno, the ho-hum art style of the show, coupled with the boring characters is just a recipe for snooze.

    A few of my friends swear by it, but I think they're just deranged. I've seen a few episodes that weren't bad, but still.
