Well, to be fair, I lurked for a about a year. And then I posted off and on for a while. And then I lurked some more. I've put in about 500 posts in the last month or so.

: listening to ratatat now, kinda wondering why I never did cause this is a p. good song. Also I skimmed a few El Ten Eleven tracks and I really like what I heard so thanks for that.
God is an Astronaut is good to listen to if you're doing something else like cleaning, playing a game or writing seething critiques of current snake-farming regulations.
Also the song Wildcat (on Classics), also the entirety of LP3 (yeah original album name huh). Falcon Jab (a song on LP3) is so mad, it makes me feel all nostalgic for some reason. Probably because the song sound kinda like one of those old beat 'em up arcade games.
The D4 actually are (were) a new zealand band that got kind of big in japan, and it confuses me every time you refer to this dillinger four as D4 and then I'm all 'oh'. hth
also all you post-rock loving homps should listen to Jesu and Alcest (except for the first Alcest album which is black metal, but good luck finding that anyway). And maybe Agalloch if harsh vocals don't make you wet yourself.

Because D4 owns duhhhh

Seems like I get into these indie groups years after they were actually releasing albums.

anyway, i saw black lips today and they were fairly entertaining. i don't think i could sit at home and listen to their music, though.
The only album I thought was okay was their self titled that came out...this year or last year I dont remember.
I also think This Will Destroy You is boring most of the time but their self titled is really good!
Also I forgot to mention The Album Leaf, so I am mentioning them now.
el ten eleven is FANTASTIC study/productive music
