Great week looks like.
The Nintendo DS is getting potentially great games such as the RTS-like Lego Battles. It's also getting the game Legendary Starfy, which is something I know little about beyond the fact that people have been wanting that to get localized here. Nintendo DS also gets a new Mario v. Donkey Kong, but I think it's DSiWare. The system also gets the Indy Jones game, as well as a new Guitar Hero.
The HD systems all get [strike]InFamous[/strike] i mean ProtoType this week, the i'm-a-super-badass that runs about the city with super power causing havoc game. Looks good.
Everybody gets
Tiger Woods 10. BUT! The
Wii version looks to be absolutely killer this year. Not only does it come (optionally) packed with the
Motion Plus, but it looks to use the M+ really well and add a level of interactivity to the game unmatched up to this point. It also has
Disc Golf mode! Should be lots of fun. I'm really lookin' forward to it.
The
Wii also gets
Grand Slam Tennis, as well as Virtua Tennis 2009! BOTH support Motion+ as well! What I've read for hands-on with Grand Slam is that it's the best tennis game ever.. but I haven't heard anything about Virtua Tennis, so who knows which will truly be better? I think all of these sports games coming out this week support online mulitplayer as well fyi.
Speaking of Indy Jones, I know the Wii version coems with Fate of Atlantis but I('m unsure abotu the other verisons...
PSP gets Rock Band unplugged!
I think thats it. I see Gunstar coming out for digital distro on 360/psn too.

I'm going to grab Staff of Kings and Grand Slam Tennis, but I'll hold off from Lego Battles and Prototype until I hear more about them.
I guess there was no point in borrowing Dead Space from my friend this month. Haha.

<Heads to Amazon to buy Lego Battles>
[edit] Slash, you have the wrong pic for PS3 Virtual Tennis, I think.
(Please do not gift. My game bank is already full.)

I also want Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the DSi. Looks like I need to restock my Nintendo points.

This is the first psp game I ever preordered, at full price no less. The demo completely sold me on it, was way much more fun than I thought possible.
Thinking about getting prototype as well, but waiting on more reviews. Might wait till the price drops as well since Infamous did a pretty good job of satisfying my super power sandbox itch.
Let me tell you about Demon's Souls....
It's either a code you enter in the Main Menu, or beat the first level.
Fate of Atlantis has upscaling options and the original voiceovers, if anyone was wondering.

Also, this XNA Community Game just came out and looks very intriguing: http://catalog.xna.com/en-US/GameDetails.aspx?catalogEntryId=e2e0f951-181e-48f3-a8bf-c75c27870700&type=2 - It's basically Geometry Wars with classes & levelling up.

There's one being released on the PSN/XBLA, there was a thread about it. :P
That's Vandal Hearts, and it looks absolutely terrible.

Vandal Hearts was always a great SRPG for me.
They are only 400. It sucks but...I want most of these. Maybe not Comix Zone and Shinobi but other than that....Fuck...Atleast only 400. Thats great in my book.
GIANT GEYSERS OF BLOOD
Vandal Hearts was great for the time (Jeanne D'Arc reminds me a lot of VH), though VH2 was really ... odd.
I really, really want RB Unplugged. I might splurge on it but I almost never buy full-priced PSP games; there's a big difference between $40 and $30 for handheld games in my head, for some reason.
Switch - SW-3699-5063-5018
Never heard of it until now. It looks like Chrono Trigger though.
Yep. It's a throwback to the 16bit era. Awesome sprites, and even has mode-7.
Indy Wii for $29.99 at Sears
I picked up my pre-order at Gamestop, damn it. :x
It seems decent enough. A code unlocks Fate of Atlantis right at the beginning.
I'll be back at home for a week and my parents have a Wii. Thinking of renting it since nothing else on the Wii has really spoken to me. Yes, I've played Mario Galaxy, Metroid, Zelda etc.
I might have been the only person to buy it
so is it starfy 4 or 5
