The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
So my girlfriend was over at my place a few days ago and I showed her Let's Tap, to see what she'd think. Surprisingly, she was into it, and we played for a few hours.
Then it dawned on me that I don't really have very many multiplayer Wii games. Outside of Let's Tap I obviously have Wii Sports, then Mario Kart & Wii Play. I don't see her being too into Smash Bros, as she exists somewhere in between the realm of casual and hardcore.
Any recommendations on multiplayer Wii games that aren't total garbage?
I haven't tried the new one so I can't speak for it, but if it just adds to what was in the base game I can't imagine there's any reason to get the old one now.
Also, if you like Tetris, Tetris Party on wiiware is good. Reversi looks pretty decent for a simple othello game. Dr. Mario was recommended, but eh. The bomberman is decent if you like the old school bombermen games; but it's not too fun with just 2 people.
I'm currently playing through Secret of Mana with my old lady on the virtual console. The fighting and some of the mechanics can be pretty tedious, though.
I've been wanting to pick up Alien Syndrome forever, hopefully it's something she'll dig. I sorely want a new Dark Alliance/Champions of Norrath.
I'm actually considering Ghostbusters as well. I'm gonna sit her down tomorrow night to watch the first film (That she's never seen) and if she likes it I might try to segway into co-op Ghostbusters, which would give me a reason to buy it.

And if she doesn't like it you're breaking up with her, right?
Tales of Symphonia 1 & 2 might be worth looking into, if you think she'd be into an RPG. Going to be picking both of those up soon.
WarioWare is pretty fun, yes. I recommend hot seating (switching off every micro-game) the single-player mode until you're through everything. Doing the 16-player elim mode with you both controlling eight characters is fun as well. The multiplayer modes in WarioWare games are always way too short.

But I haven't seen it in a retail store in ages. I had to buy it online actually when I finally got it; nowhere in Utah seemed to have it in stock.
But the sequel is only like $6 more.
