FFVI is my favorite of all the FFs. I'd kind of like to see it taken a little further than just the blocky polygons of the other remakes if they're going to do it though. Something on the Wii maybe?
I got a used copy of Covenant of the Plume at Gamestop. Good buy? I'm not sure I'll have much of a chance to play it before the 7 day return period is up, so some impressions would be cool.
A Final Fantasy V DS remake needs to happen before VI. V is the superior Final Fantasy Game.
V was a fun as hell game, and the best implementation of the job system yet in my opinion, but I'd have to disagree. 6 was just so much more deep in nearly every respect.
That being said, while the 4 remake doesn't look awful, like DMAC said I don't really think I'd like either of them to have DS 3-D.
I'm pretty disappointed in the look of FFXIII. I don't really like the "sci-fi with magic spells" Final Fantasy games. VI had a sort of steampunk technology to it but still had knights and castles and other more traditional fantasy elements.
Yeah the translation is really good. The old translation was fine, and Ted Woosley gets way more crap than he deserves, but overall the new one is better. Mostly because it wasn't done by a single person on a ridiculous time constraint.
I'm also a fan of the new font in the GBA version.
Just finished the second giant Bowser fight, that was so easy it wasn't even funny. I hope there's more of that stuff though, it's sooo fun. I'd play a game that's entirely that

The worst part about M&L:BIS is after you beat it the mysterious voice says "If you play some more you can get new ranks" and you have to level up to level 40 so you get some new equipment for battling when there is no other point to playing after finishing it

The game said blow like FOOOOOOOOO, so I go FOOOOOOO into the ds, While blowing.
