Goin on a train trip

So I've never really done any travelling, and none alone

But tomorrow I'm takin' the Amtrak eight and a half hours down to Savannah, Georgia all by my lonesome to spend some time with my lady

What should I do to prepare for this eight hour ride? I've never had anything like this before

I've got a MacBook and Pokemon Red and a big pile of good books, though I reckon the scenery will be pretty and I've heard trains are pretty comfortable

I guess trains don't have wireless yet

Give me some first time traveller advice so I don't get raped and murdered

    Bring food because train food is shitty

    There will be power plugs

    Don't watch porn on the train

    Also my girlfriend has work like two days when I'm there so if you guys know anything that a lone white male can get really toasted and do in Savannah
