To be fair Will Wright is probably the most well known game developer as far as game developers go
Yeah, and Wright is up there on my list of inspirations. But I've always view his work as more philisophical than practical. His concepts of playing and using games as imagination tools are very interesting and high level, but I look at Spector as an example of how to put new concepts into a storytelling space.

It doesn't look like it's all about the Hatter, from what I'm seeing in the trailer. It seems like Hatter is just going to be a more prominent character than most of the cast.
It's not out for another 8 months, they probably don't have much to show at this point, and a lot of Alice's scenes probably haven't been finished yet.
Looks like he'll probably be a tagalong, instead of just one of many people in Wonderland. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I approve. I kinda like the idea of Mickey as this kind of horribly tyrannical benevolent misguided big brother man behind the curtain type figure. Like the fairytale war of Fables. It just seems... fun and exploratory.

It doesn't look like it's all about the Hatter, from what I'm seeing in the trailer. It seems like Hatter is just going to be a more prominent character than most of the cast.
