These are the men and women in life that you look up to for being a BOSS. They run shit. Men and Women that... well...
There are two types of people: those that talk the talk and those that walk the walk. People who walk the walk sometimes talk the talk but most times they don't talk at all, 'cause they walkin'. Now, people who talk the talk, when it comes time for them to walk the walk, you know what they do? They talk people like me into walkin' for them
My initial picks off the top of my head
Jay-Z, John D. Rockefeller, Larry Ellison, Larry Flynt, Ingvar Kamprad
Each one started with nothing, or next to nothing, and became some of the wealthiest and most influential men on earth. These are the guys who hear you complaining about petty bullshit and slap you for being an insignificant little faggot.
Who do you look at to guide your own success SE++? Who do you read about and think to yourself "God I'm such a fucking failure."
yeah most of these people are absolute pieces of shit
eidt: well most were before people snuck in some posts before me
I'm curious as to why?
I mean, do we expect that anyone who accumulates vast monetary wealth has to also be extraordinary as a person?
Is it not enough to be successful and build industries from nothing? Provide hundreds of thousands of jobs for people? WHo cares what they do with their own personal shares, on their own time?
Look at Kamprad. An asshole by any stretch of commonality. However he took selling matches as a child, damn near INVENTED modern outsourcing and wholesale, and turned that into IKEA. Motherfucker created an entire market on his own. Was he nice about it? Hell no. He crushed anyone in his path. But how many jobs has he alone created?
Same with Ellison. Does anyone honestly think that DBA's would be as well paid and trusted if Oracle hadn't been founded? No. He created an entire discipline in Computer Science, and an entire industry where there was nothing.
success is enough on its own who cares what kind of person you are
that's an excellent mentality to have

I mean you really got to admire the balls of a man who took matches and made the modern marketing system.

he turned $2000 into billions upon billions.
He convinced an entire generation of business owners to PAY HIM FOR DOING NOTHING BUT TURNING ON A GOD DAMN HARD DRIVE.
As much of a prick as he is, I have to respect anyone with brass balls that big.
Respect, Carnegie.

I am appalled and saddened your first post in this thread wasn't a Shelby.
