[PRIME] GI Joe public service anouncement. casting call

Ill be at pax on sat cos'd up as Shipwreck doing a PSA which they blasphemously did not put in the movie. I'm looking for a couple guys and girls who would like to particapate and any and all ideas you have.

Heres the PSA I wana shoot....fade in on guy playin WoW, hot girl dressed to kill walks up behind and nibbles on his ear sayin "hey baby come to bed" in a sugsetive manner. The guy then says without turning around "not now. Im in the middle of a raid", the girl walks of screen when I as Shipwreck walk up and say "Hey you know what happens when you blow of sex for WoW" camera pans left to see girl making out heavy with another guy "she fucks your brother" to which guy replies "Wow now I know" ;) and Knowings half the battle.

Theres room to play with this obviosly its jsut a rough draft but you get the idea.

    Sounds funny! I hope you can find a gal who has enough confidence to put herself out there like that, because I definitely don't.. even if it's a joke. Maybe you should use a guy in drag, because we all know how these PAX boys feel about drag. :P

    yeah a guy in drag could work...indeed ill force one of my friends into the dress myself if I have to. what I really need is a guy willing to be made fun of on screen.

    well lag That rocks lookin for a guy to be playin wow and one to be makin out so you might not need to drag it up but thanks as details present themselves Ill post ta rally point for the film shoot.

    Wait I'm confused by how you worded it, will it be filmed in the Free play area of somewhere else?

    EDIT: sorry if I sound like an idiot, Ive been up for 24 hours and just got done with a 2 hour game of nazi zombies.

    Well I havent decided I was hoping thered be a WoW room this year I could film it in but freeplay room or BYOC room are solid fall backs.

    Also, I'm pretty sure there is no WoW room and PC Freeplay computers haven't been known to have it installed in the past.

    Exactly. And if anyone has ideas we can do during the PAX festivites we are more than willing to hear out your creation...

    Also there was a WoW freeplay area last year at the blizzard booth. They had beta versions of WotLK for people to try out

    Ok so there seem to be some confusion so probably my fault so heres some clarification.

    I will be at pax prime sat and sun looking to film a comical parody of a GI Joe psa.
    I will be Shipwreck, I have a camera and a camera crew.
    I need three things.

    1. At least one more guy who is willing to be either the guy playin wow or the guy makin out with his wife.
    2. A girl who is willing to be the wife(this role need not include any real makin out, your choice)
    3. any other funny parody ideas people would like to film.

    We will film this any freakin where we can at pax on sun perferably but sat if need be.

    Hope that is a little clearer for everyone sorry for the confusion. this should be freakin hilarious and a whole lot of fun.

    that covers one-third of the people needed. i REALLY dont wanna have to get a wig and drag out this year *hint hint, nudge nudge*

    also, anyone have any ideas? we have some, but we wanna see waht other people can come up with too!

    Fragen awesome we got some interest here(obviously a bad speller) so details as to when and where coming soon..reallysoon till then if you guys have any ideas for your own parodies let me know we can do more than one this weekend.

    I wouldn't worry about getting a machine that has WoW on it. You can just position the camera in a fashion that prevents you from seeing the actual computer screen. If you say "you're on a raid" everyone will just assume you're playing WoW anyway. Just to be sure you can always have him muttering to himself about stuff that's WoW specific.

    Also, this idea is awesome. I love the GI Joe PSAs. I was also very sad to see that they didn't have any sort of reference to them in the movie.

    We're still looking for ideas/people willing to help with this... If you have anything to contribute, please do. Our Shipwreck is almost complete! I'm sure there will be a pic posted when it's completed

    yes we do, our 3rd cohort is filming for us. Ive pretty much whored myself out to play the WoW nerd for our planned skit, but we need the chick and pretty much anyone can play the guy she "makes out" with.

    refer to the OP if you have any questions on the PSA that is planned to be performed :)

    *ALSO*!!! we will be attending the Pre-Pax dinner (regrettably arriving somewhat late) and the bar crawl. if you will be attending either, look for a guy rockin a Military Issue Camo hat.
