Am I the only one disappointed in Gene Hoglan and the album in general?

What did you expect? A good album?

They're different shows and comparing them makes you even more retarded than your name.

I'm glad you randomly picked me out to criticize about this, instead of the other people who share my sentiment. Even more random that you'd call out my screen name, definite WTF moment.

Also, it's not THAT unreasonable to compare them, they're both Brendon Small humor just with different frameworks.

I was never a huge fan of Home Movies. It did have it's moments, but episodic stuff tends to not get my attention easily unless it does something really out there.

I did love the short film about the Shrinking Prince, though. I'm tempted to get some friends and film that in live-action.

Eh. It probably wouldn't be a bad time to see Brendon and Gene and a few guys rock some of these songs, but I'm wary of them giving it the Gorillaz treatment.

Not necessarily. It just feels like the full songs lack some of the creativity and humor of the clips on the show, and I understand how that can be hard to sustain for more than 60 seconds, but it feels like they couldn't back it up with solid, interesting music either. I also didn't expect Gene Hoglan's playing to be so flat; I've been listening to Individual Thought Patterns all day. And where's that DethFam song?
