I think we can safely ignore the battlesuit. As powerful as it is, this match is at its core not a quetion of strength. With out the battlesuit, Loki would be able to defeat Lex physically without much trouble, the addition of the battlesuit forces Loki to engage Lex on his own brainy terms.
I don't understand why the Bizzaro World's fucked up logic is an issue in the first place. If Loki's Wiki entry is to be believed, he doesn't try to convince people to do what he wants, he mentally dominates them and MAKES them do it. Whether his commands jibe with their screwy logic or not, when Loki says "Go pound the shit out of that bald guy in the metal suit" they go do it.
