great deni
now all the orphans have to look forward to for Christmas is cancer
And that cop dressed as Santa but he got stuck with that gig because of his DUI.
Fun fact: That is how a cop in my school district got kicked off patrol and was stuck doing D.A.R.E. for like 10 years.
oh he must have been so enthusiastic

In 5th grade we all thought he was the coolest guy in the world but when we got older and found out about his record and he was kind of a joke to us. I think he got hit with another DUI when I was in high school too.
I remember a rafting trip in eastern WA, we were camping nearby the night before rafting and of course there was drinking going on
at one point, four of the people in the group were comparing how many DUIs they'd received and I'm just thinking, you fucking morons
my one ticket was, of course, in rural bumfuck vermont
i was following my GPS to my friends house in vermont from MA instead of taking the big highways
took about the same amount of time except you had to drive slower (went diagonally northwest instead of west for a while, then north for a while)
and its those stupid country bumfuck roads on some minor hills
and its night
and its those kind of roads that are mostly 1 lane and sometimes 2, and the speed limit can change from 30 to 45 and back and forth always
so i you know, it was down to 30 and i was a tiny bit fast, but not much and i see the lights
the cop pulled me over and was like, yeah i'd been driving behind you for a long time (didn't see him as a cop because it was night and no street lights), and you were doing well and keeping within the speed limit except for this tiny bit just now
so i'll give you the minimum ticket, which is still expensive, and still fucking ups my insurance
and it's pretty bullshit for him to be like, oh you're a great driver but you sped up for about 5-10 seconds so here's a ticket
a warning he shoulda given me at least
but thats the only purpose of cops in nowheres land
to give tickets
EDIT:
at the same time as this, my other friend was driving some more friends on the big highways except he is a reckless super speed driver, and got pulled over for going like near 90 in a 65 i feel like
and his car was also full of booze in the trunk (and we were all like 18) and a massive amount of weed
so he could have gone to jail for a long time
fuck man i was going like 7 miles over the limit or something like that, who gives a damn ticket for that
whatever it was a stupid thing that was stupid
i probably could have argued it and gotten away with it but it was late and i was tired and i'm not white and it was VT
I propose that by harnessing the body heat of users reading this thread and complaining about their tickets in an infinite cycle, we can discover perpetual motion
Not really, but you weren't wrong in the way Wren thinks you were.
You are under the common assumption that any negative comment on anything that could be called a moral or ethical issue is borne out of a smug confidence in the speaker's own moral perfection. This is a rather extreme generalization that, if true, would include any accusation of self-righteousness.
Essentially, when you use the term the way you are, you are calling yourself self-righteous and a hypocrite.
Where I mocked you for insisting on others using a particular spelling (which I note you are not using now)?
How is that in the least self-righteous or self-serving, even under the absurdly broad definitions I believe you're using? "Dick" is appropriate, the others are not.
Your use of hyphens is completely correct.

Maaaaaaaan you really did not read my post at all
I said it was weird for me, spelling it like that, so I do not
Never ever did I once state that everyone else should spell it like that!

I was in Gamestop, trying to buy a game and get to the checkout, and while I waited in this needlessly long line, a family walks in.
They are not the most sophisticated people in the world

He shouts "HAYLO MAYSK, MA"
"ONLY SEVENTY DOLLARS FOR THIS HAYLO MAYSK"

How are they supposed to look, they're blind
some people just don't learn

but still, i'm pissed about my stupid ticket
You admit to breaking the law.
You admit you got off easy.
But it's the cop you're mad at.

Clearly we need to, since some people still don't get it.
Yes, you would have gotten away with it because cops just love it when entitled brats try to argue with them call them racists.
Just shut up and let him be dumb, no one will gain anything from this conversation.
All cruising Vermont interstates, inconveniencing brown people with trivial fines just because I can.

I just think you're being self-righteous.
Like I said, sometimes, hell, I'll go as far as most of the time, you are an okay guy.
The rest of the time you are such a dick, and often in a self-serving way.
Remember the whole thing about the Koran?
I feel like I am misusing most of these hyphens.

it's time to flush it because it's now just stinking up the place
