Yeah there is a large group of models that model at the school, so you see the same ones sometimes...but of course it shifts overtime as models move and new ones come in. This guy has been around for about a year now...he is really cool looking.
well I asked him how to shade better and he went oh this is how, so he did the left hand and then did the middle part of the right arm and showed me how to smooth out shades and I was like can you stopp I wana try it on my ownnn, and he went okayy and then I did the rest but I went really really slow
Haha, Im always afraid to say you can stop Im ready to do it myself. Sometimes they get carried away having fun drawing and all of a sudden they finish it. Not necessarily a bad thing, I end up with a nice drawing just start a new one from a different spot.
Loomdun if you pull through these four years at Watts you're going to be the fucking poster boy of improvement. It's absolutely terrifying at how fast you're progressing.
thanks i'm going to have a big ol dump tonight, so far only one portrait, my teacher did a draw over on my first one so I asked if I could do it over to try the line work myself and i'm actually really happy with the head for once
(plus bacon gave some good advice)
i'm not going to bother show the one she drew though no neeed to show the awesomeness of instructors
Sorry I didn't end up showing up this morning. I have a nasty head cold it seems. I want to go to the workshop tonight but I am not going to cram myself in there with so many people unless I feel a lot better.
I tend to obsessively space my figures apart (and use too much paper). But the way they're all packed together there looks like a big dance party. Which is good, imho, as you can really see the movement, even if it was a model just posing.
I'm looking at your reference right now, man....it's squished! Check the proportions again. You made the top mass of the foot much wider, and not long enough.
thankss today was super duper fun, the last two poses were difffficulttt I had to spend the entire time just getting the measurements, and the first two I was kind of going sloppily
so you remember that drawing I said I was going to work on this week? Well I was supposed to today but instead I scrapped it and started over today from the same position, ironically enough I also went much much faster

its like in DBZ when goku turns into a super saiyan while fighting freeza, except faster then that because of the dialogue in DBZ
especially since lucas said the head was to short and had me lengthen it a tad
Exactly.
do some more art loomdun
without them removing it
Good show sir.. good show.
Legs are really rubbery and shoulders might be a little wide.
I don't even know what to think anymore. Fuck.
i'm going to study heads a lot more right now
I've been breaking my balls on heads for weeks......yes, that's better.

I think 50% of this forum has done that foot sketch......including me.
the foot on the left is very squished, but the one on the right is looking nice.
oh right there 20 minutes
also cake meadow gave me a heart attack today
