here's an older piece....giant wolves or tiny wolvie? haha
and my 1st pic of Furwyrm....he won Tony Diterlizzi's, Design Your Dragon Contest for me. I liked the character
so much I found a big role for him in my comic. The design has changed slightly but he's basically there.
You got alot of tools in your tool box, and I really like that. I like the energy and emotion in your work, that dragon is great. I feel like you could invest more of your own hand into some of your textures, though. Sometimes they jump out as digitally manufactured, and I feel like you could easily kill that with a little more painting.
Ok so if you havent read Armor by John Steakley then you gotta go get it NOW! Just recently read it and was so inspired that I had to do a piece for it.
And here's a promo piece I did for my comic, Goldilock.

Yeah I'm finding a lot of this stuff too bloomy. I likes it though, just less bloom, or preferably none, I've never thought much of the effect, it's distracting.
the only one I find most least appealing out of them (which isn't saying its bad just less appealing) is the ocean, mainly because the brush you made for the rocks isn't really that great. This makes me want to start right away on making brushes for photoshop and learning to properly paint with it along with any object.
Thanks for the comments ....I only amped up the bloom on that last one cause the characters are supposed to be slightly obscured, they come a little later in my comic...they were almost silhouettes but that was no fun.
Fabricate...good because that building said it had a crush on you and i wasnt sure if you were feelin it or not...but now you guys are all good!
Loomdun and my forest are sitting in a tree...:) oh and I can only wish that i made those rocks with one brush...one brush...this guy ha!

I've never really dug this mega hot bloomed purple, I find it dominates everything else in the image. Seems a lot of people do like it though, considering how much it's used, so I guess i'll just keep my big mouth shut......I still don't like it though.
God I love your stuff so damn much. I want to know more about your characters, they feel like they have such a history behind them.
Sebbie on
"It's funny that pirates were always going around searching for treasure, and they never realized that the real treasure was the fond memories they were creating."
Finally get to write and draw my own story....i can tell you all how excited I am. Thanks to anyone who dropped by and helped out with a vote....super stoked
Maybe you should post more than just a panel, a page or two would be nice.
You characters do a little too much talking with closed mouth and static expressions, especially in the beginning. It would be nice to, more often than not, understand what emotion your character is feeling without reading the text. It seems to get better as you go along, and the exaggerated characters have some flavor, but yeah. A lot of static faces.
