    We need an entire thread dedicated to ALL post-pax (pre-pax10) events. Not just this one, because there better be more. :D

    Anyways, if it's not just me by myself, I'm in.

    However, that thread and the next string of events will be Pre-PAX East Events.... Post-PAX no longer exists. :winky:

    I'm off work this week so I'll start putting a thread together tonight or tomorrow morning.

    Also as long as I dont' come down with the PigPlague between now and then I can probably be there Saturday.... in Surrey *shudder*. :wink:

    Yeah, it's just off of a major bus route, and I've got simple directions ready to cut and paste either from the bus (if bussing) or freeway (if driving).

    Also, why would you fuck surrey? You might catch something.

    what's wrong with surrey? i just got back from vancouver and stayed in a hotel at surrey. they are tim hortons everywhere...and tim hortons is AWESOME.

    More of a local in-joke. Surrey has a bad reputation with some local elitists. The little one liners are mocking that reputation because we realize such generalizations about all of Surrey being dirty and crime ridden are silly. In reality, its only most of Surrey that is dirty and crime ridden. :P

    That and it's a 30-45 minute trip in the opposite direction of where Vancouverites usually congregate to have fun. In that category Surrey gets the same teasing we gave to Port Moody, Abbotsford and Richmond in our other events thread. Just us urbanites teasing the suburbanites.

    And yes... Tim Hortons is awesome.

    EDIT: Also in reference to a new Vancouver PAX Community Events Thread. I'm waiting for the forums to be reigned in a tad so it doesn't get lost right away in the chaos. Now that the upteengazillion sick threads are being modded into one, the forum is looking a little cleaner. I'll put a new thread together soon as I know ACC3SS has a few ideas brewing for new events, as do I.

    Shit! Totally didn't clue in there, Parabola. Uh, not really. Rock band is downstairs, but the house is like 35 years old, so the doorways and stuff are probably narrower than you'd need to get around. Sorry, man!

    Ah too bad, I have a friend's birthday party in the evening that day. Although, you can still put me on the list, I may be able to make it for part of the BBQ. I'll confirm that in another post though.

    Yeah, I understand if you'd want to postpone. I'm down for this, and if you guys are willing, then yay! If not, AbsintheMinded said he'd post a list of all the post PAX/ prePAX East stuff and I'll hold another event in a bit.

    Hope all you H1Nerd1 victims are feeling better!


    Also, Greenwitch and I will have pop, and chips, but it's reccomended that everyone bring their own meat, and a side to share.
