Another thought occurred to me: there could be a backup vig/seer, who only activated when the first one died. That might be something to keep the kill level more consistent and help overcome the village disadvantage of not knowing who they are, but would not be too strong for the village due to the replacements not necessarily realizing it for a bit.

That makes sense. I think it would be fairly easy to recognize if indeed that happens. I guess what it means is that if we lose the vig, everyone else should be extra careful about where they send in their next orders.
Incidentally, I would wager a guess that we -will- be informed when a special dies. The picture in the op shows which color represents which role. Hardly conclusive evidence, but we've gotta be able to get SOME information here.
I was planning on voting Jobastion based on his day 1 postings. Then a little wagon started on him, and I wasn't so confident about my hunch anymore. Now there's a push for another, over Job when the wagon failed to disappear?
Oh, and here's the situation and village cooperation would be appreciated.
If the vig decides to call their kill, then it's the responsibility of every villager (aka potential guard) to target them tomorrow night. Don't leave them hanging.
If the vig doesn't feel like going along with my strategy, well then hey you guys don't have to worry about it right? :P But if they do, don't fuck them over.

... thanks.
Edit: actually, wait, hold on. That still seems to indicate that they started un-networked. Hm.
e~ thematically, it fits too. We're all in the dark.
For being blissfully unaware of how evil he was :P
It astounds me how many people who won with me also vote for me. This is what comes from helping people kids. Don't do it. :P

Believe me, I understand - I tried to help a whole bunch of people win that game, but did they listen to me? Of course not, Jobastion... :P

Guess I'll go with Shamelo.
I've got about half the orders that I'm expecting.

On the other hand, Jobastion appears to have been keeping a rather low profile.
