But I have a stuffed tiger now (yes I still keep stuffed animals dammit, I'm a female so I have a lame excuse), and I'd have a hard time choosing who to hug at night

So, anyone else have Pokemon baned from their school when they were younger? I still think it was pretty much my fault that Pokemon was banned from mine. I brought in some of the cards (some crappy Electric/Psychic deck which was mostly comprized of the cards obtained in the "Zap!" deck way back when), and the next day it was everywhere. Within a week, the principal made an announcement banning all things Pokemon since too many kids got into fights over unfair trades, both in the card game and video games.
I fell damn proud that I got a video/card game banned from a school, now that I think about it.
i loved those pokeball toys that had a spring trigger inside them so when you threw it over a pokemon figure it closed and catches them
it made me feel like i was really catching it
i was the best, like no one ever was
That was the first pokemon toy I ever got! It was a set with a pokedex that launched this little ball on a string at three different pikachu figures, and then you got them with the little spring-loaded thing -
wait, that's probably different than what you're talking about, because they came in singles with just one pokemon and a spring-loaded pokeball too.
