    If you write a post with the word 'stab' in it ie: I agree with this quoted post so much i could stab something! (except, you know, clever and misleading) would the stab count? or can you literally only post STAB and COUNTERSTAB?

    you have to just post stab and counterstab. is this not clear in the OP? I thought it was. I'll make sure it is.

    checked the OP, it's pretty clear to me that you must quote the post, have it be directly after, and only post STAB or COUNTERSTAB

    The only downside to quoting your target's post and saying STAB when someone has posted between you is that your target now knows who you are?

    and

    Quoting somebody who isn't your target and saying STAB is against the rules?

    if someone gets inbetween you and your stab, your target can now be even more vigilant.

    if you quote someone who isn't your target and say stab, i will be pissed because there is no reason to
